Story

Thirty-five years ago a friendship formed in Israel between two young women volunteering on a kibbutz. Intrepid, young and traveling around the world, they journeyed off in different directions but kept in touch via letters for many years until finally losing contact in the midst of their more conventional lives.

In 2015, Lynn found Ann on the Internet and flew to Colorado for a short visit. Instantaneously their friendship was resurrected, along with their younger, wilder and “bolder” selves. Within this ambiance, BoldOver Belts was spontaneously birthed in Boulder, Colorado.

Today, Ann works from her studio in Boulder and Lynn from her shop in London.

It is our desire that the women who wear BoldOver Belts feel beautiful, confident and as original as our craft. Belts made by women, for women.
